Well done to you all. Anyone who participated in one form or another was a winner. I look forward to the SA Nationals / WC MTB XCO this weekend. I have found my favourite spot or two and will stick to those. Sadly every time Jolande Neff came by I developed some wobble of sorts. Gratefully Tania Horsford did not.

Thanks to one and all for attending. It turned out to be a wonderful day for all the family. Thanks to our MTBers and their families and friends for making this a particularly awesome event.
To my fellow committee members and volunteers, well done on an exceptional event. Looking forward to another great day out at SA Nationals next weekend.
To the international stars that joined us yesterday, you’re just fantastic. And for all those that managed to squeeze in a “selfie” with Joland Neff – I just want to say that I am jealous.

The Subaru Cape Town / Novus Holdings presents the STIHL SA National MTB Championships which took place at Coetzenburg race track in Stellenbosch on Saturday, 18 July (XCO) and Sunday, 19 July (DHI). Despite the wet conditions and tough terrain, the event was a great success with a positive turnout and results.
We would like to thank Stellenbosch University, Stellenbosch Municipality and the South African Police Services for making the SA National MTB Championship possible.
The official photographer for the SA National MTB Championship was Wilhelm Sieberhagen and Ewald Sadie, who captured phenomenal images at the event. A selection of thumbnails of these images will be uploaded on their websites and are available for purchasing.

Here are the provisional results for XCO #3 at Helderberg. I can only say it was an awesome event. It was a challenging course. A wonderful setting. Thanks Jan for the course and venue and all the participants who made the day so special.
